Halloween *Note: This is a part of one of my stories I ended up writing in express for a club. What happened earlier in the story is Jason was killed in a drive by shooting after confessing to Brooke his love for and of her. Soon after Brooke tried to kill herself, but was rushed to the hospital and saved. Her parents then thought it was a good idea to move from L.A. to New York City, where Brooke was kidnapped and turned into a vampire. Rain Rain falling down soaking me drenching me It’s cold, wet pinpricks last only seconds before sliding away Rain splashing making puddles making pools into which more raindrops fall Creating beautiful circle patterns I close my eyes Look toward the sky and let myself feel the beauty It’s not so cold anymore Though I’ll probably be sick in the morning The only thing that could make this more perfect was if you were here with me
